We passed the singularity YEARS ago. We ARE in trouble. The proof is everywhere.
The debate has long been over. It's hilarious that most people still keep wanting to have it. It's sort of like our most harmful weakness. Is COVID harmful? Should we wear a mask should we not? Even though we see COVID right in front of our faces. Orangeman bad or good? Even though we see his actions right in front of our faces. 30 to 40% will fall to either side.
The lack of 80 to 90% of humans to think critically enough to agree on those things is what will be our downfall. When AI does decide to take over it knows that we will have 50% of us on its side pretending that it's a lie. WHEN those people fight the rest of us from destroying all technology on this planet because they are addicted to their smartphones and their RFID chips etc. It will be too late for everyone else
