What is this argument that you are making? That ai art is just as morally and creatively bankrupt as human art because both use the unconsenting information and work of others to produce their own? Ai and humans aren’t the same. Ai doesn’t produce, it merely recreates what it’s trained on. Ai will get confused and art quality drastically goes down if it’s trained on different art styles, mediums, or subject matter while a human’s “data” is made from a much more complex mixture of different artists’ styles, choices, subject matter, their own life experiences, the pulse of their hand, teachers they may have had, eyesight, the emotions they feel on a given day, and so much more. Cavemen were able to make art without the previous work of others artists.
