That’s more of a corporation issue though. ideally you would have less people needed for checkout kiosk, which should lead to different tasks needed for the job, Shorter hours, shorter work weeks, etc. WITHOUT altering what amount of money people make. automation should lead to productivity, not replacement. This is why regulation is important. Without regulation, you get what you describe.
