Start learning how to draw. I can't actually draw atm, but I'm planning to learn for my video edits. I actually want to edit some stuff but i don't like relying on other people's artwork, neither AI as it looks weird and ugly. I'd rather take my time to learn to do it, even if it takes years.
Editing has also taken me years of learning, and that's the fun part! If you truly want something, you can learn to do it and master it! If you can't afford it, do it yourself. There's paper and pencils. Hell, you can even paint using coffe.
