@JUICYbluepanda2 The core of the issue I and a LOT of other people have with ai is that it isn’t human. It’s not like photography where it has its own art style and techniques that still require a human’s eye, hand, and ideas. Is it possible to reach that point? For it to be like photography in terms of art? Potentially, but not in its current form, and ESPECIALLY not in the way it’s being used. At the moment, ai is best as a tool to assist in the artistic process in my eyes, not a replacement for the entire process itself.
Edit: And there is ai being used as a tool to assist in the artistic process, and that’s great. It cuts a lot of the boring, not fun stuff and lets the artist create their art more efficiently. But that’s only when it’s constrained to a specific, narrow function. Not as the entire process.
