@Patrick-jj5nh So first off, LLMs being a dead end doesn't do much to affect the argument, just the timeline: there's a bunch of other kinds of machine learning you've never heard of because they don't suck up trillions in investor money, and one of *them* could be an AI.
Second off, the AGI only has to be less delusional than the average corporate executive or politician, it doesn't actually have to be that in touch with reality to ruin everything.
