I'm a huge fan of ai and it really peaked my interest when you said "I have no doubt that ONE DAY, true AI absolutely will far exceed human capability across a broad range of tasks, and crucially it will know what it's doing.", so I'm wondering if that's just how you FEEL and it's just "trust me bro", or if there's some proof or evidence that you recently got? Simply because I've been following ai for more than 5 years and I haven't heard or seen any evidence to believe something like that. I also agree about the LLMs part but just assuming AI can be possible and do that, 'one day' or otherwise doesn't really make sense to me based on what we currently know.
