Not really, ai pervasiveness is due to industry chasing, a bunch of companies promise investors zero cost advancements in field down the line using ai, banking on those investors not knowing what ai was right as ai was starting to be a point of technological curiosity, now because they assured and received payment for it they are legally obligated to at least try (during the contract period) to ship product on what was promised, the moment those contract periods are up, companies will stop trying to push it enmasse
