its less about the literal sense of the test and more about the framework the ai uses to navigate the conversation or interaction. Being "Convincing" is one thing, but at a certain, point, there are roadblocks which compromise a chatbots ability to contextualize and interpret accurately, because it is still limited to particular data sets. To create and navigate new roads(similarly to neural pathways). Meaning to navigate interaction through the ability to innovate, improvise or re-contextualize while still keeping the original understanding and intention, is a whole different matter, thats really why i believe the test operates the way it does. At that point, the ai, has begun developing its multilayered coherent response outside of the initial limited data sets that its originally bounded by.
Even if it isnt, initially, a full blown genius mind, noticing the ability to do that is like watching a baby learn, contextualize, understand, repeat or interate. Essentially.. sentience and autonomy within the scope of their limited knowledge.
