It’s rlly good you stopped using it! AI isnt really harmful if you use it that way, but sources like Picrew and Gacha life are def better for references because you can customize it a whole bunch more without the source itself making mistakes! AI also does use artists work as reference, so it would also make your art possibly resemble another artists. I also went through this problem but im so happy I switched to different recourses as well :D
