All these issues stem from the same thing, taking the human out of the process.
If you take a step back, it is really quite sad. We've gone from artists spending their days painstakingly creating mosaics to... this. I do hope people like shad come out of their delusion. I find it particularly odd for him as I remember his channel being historically focused, and I assumed he'd have more appreciation for these things.
And the AI slop is making internet usage significantly worse, even more so on the written side I've found. You struggle to find reviews or how to articles from more than a couple well known sources that aren't utterly useless AI slop now. Duckduckgo has an AI image filter now, but I'm not sure how well it works or will work.
I also have a lot of respect for digital artists, particularly the ones in the film industry. They carry on the same tradition. What's really depressing is that I've started to notice people referring to CGI as AI...
