I think they will be overtaken by AI as well because law will be able to comb through and remember every law in the legal systems. In terms of precedent the AI will be able to once again comb through everything that is relevant to the case whether it be from their country's as binding or lower courts and another country's past cases as persuasive arguments. However, while it may have all the legal knowledge, it at the present lacks the ability of persuasion, which is critical for gaining a favourable verdict from a magistrate or jury.
