Says somebody who's never programmed. As someone who's programmed with and without AI, I can tell you first-hand that AI absolutely sucks at anything more complex than a simple side-project. It cannot reliably make anything and if you don't understand what you're writing then it's even worse. Companies spend millions of dollars creating reliable software, the unreliability of AI is the reason it cannot do more than just simple projects. The only people I've heard have this mentality are those who genuinely have no technical knowledge and don't understand what programming actually is and involves.
