@jacksonbarkerthebluehairedfox I think your perspective needs to be more prevalent in the conversation. It's a nuanced topic that isn't regularly approached with the nuance it deserves. I'm hopeful that automation will mean we can spend our time creating what we want, instead of slaving for wages or doing tedious work. All too often the conversation around AI is simply: "AI is bad." When it should be "using AI to replace creative work that people want to be doing is bad." I dunno, I just don't see this tech being as devastating as people think. I also don't believe that it is as universally good as the AI-stans seem to think. Photography was supposed to be the end of traditional mediums. We realized they just served different purposes and I sincerely hope this is the future of AI art.
