I'm responding to this, like if the posting would've come out of nowhere to keep things progress/topic- and not ego/emotion oriented.] First of all. There were times over the last two decades I was such upset about the masses' obvious dumb long term decisions (out of pure comfort) that I tended to think the same way. Like: "Let them suffocate then, in their own consequences". So I understand this kinda way to look at it, even if it's been coming from a different origin. So looking at how things evolve in the masses before, but especially after the new century didin't make me a big friend of humankind as well. - Yet; when trying to help one's environment to follow a less surfaced, a less bribe-for-comfort oriented and a less convenient-focussed way you might come to the conclusion, that there's another way that is intentionally supressed to keep the classical human controllable. Since birth, state (driven by military- or industrial or both agendas) and society (which is the biggest and best hidden-in-public soft-harassing and self-correction group, supported by certain ppl in control that wanna maintain exacly that. (...)) around everyone is forcing ppl into working drones, which some fight and sadly others surrender on first sight to the concept. I fought this kinda mental slavery several dozends of years (like thousands of others did the same time and millions did before me) and will not stop doing, only because the microchip has proven to be doing a better and more constant job the last 20 years than specific humans would do in permanent exchanging 'mind progression for comfort' and 'control for entertainment' on the "free market". (Which has become an ironic terminus in the light of this background btw) There's something between this imperfection that defies science's eye and I'm not talking about a religious thing here. Everybody has the chance to progress in knowledge about him/herself and the existence itself. Evolution is not how far you can climb up the artificially build ladder, like reaching the top job to earn millions of our 'precious' currency, respectively reputation or exceeding oneself and their row of capability for responsibility with building machines that do While pretending to know more than we can be sure about we're again playing with tech that we cannot handle responsible sided. If one didn't experience yet that we're more than just hardware I might not blame this individual to think like that. We are grown up thinking like that, especially with all that religions, lead by the same sort of power driven man that would as well do a great job as a global industrial CEO. It's time to break with those old scars and conventions and reinvention the wheel. How did it come to this, that we never question our ground anymore? It's such easy to pay scientists as a corrupted state/a global concern's CEO to spread false studies through official channels(newspapers, TV-news, hollywood/disney films, internet) or seemingly harmless: to the school system's curriculum. We do have a lot of artificial impressions, raining down on our consciousness every day, teaching us from the beginning of our self-awareness time in youth that we're just that: Hardware without further "software" components. The best way to prove this a lie is the existence of will and its capability to overwealm a physical status. As a scientist you cannot explain it in any satisfying way, how it is possible that ppl with a convincing strong will could've overcome deadly deseases. While a patient and maybe a doctor might call it "being lucky against the odds" or simply "a wonder", while a scientist might remain in "professional silence" for good reason. As I it in more or less dramatical situations myself, I'd call it simply a "human mind's victory over materia (within his own energy field)". One - luckily - might not have experienced this in individual cases, but that's one of our species' weakness: Lacking imagination. Another one would be habitude and even one of them would be enough to keep the mass of people in an artificial facts' snow globe. The best example for ongoing fatal lack of imagination is in most ppl's youth: - *Young humans cannot imagine to be vulnerable in health, because nothing did ever let them down within their own body. Only a huge impact on health conditions, - like... let's take for example a modern-classical "car accident", that pulls them down to the base of biological facts - could change that.* And if they got the message right it's sadly not because they had a good imagination before; they needed this impact to realize the fact about their existence. We do have this kinda deception running live at this moment all around the globe with a minority recognizing it correctly and an even smaller amount of ppl within capable of simulating enough reality based imagination in their mind to see where our world is ending with this kinda programmed direction. This is far beyond any ego thing like "B has far more evolved than C"; this is just a subpart of the ongoing mind game "Deception" with the work title "seperation through ego-competition". To break it down, the A.I.-thing is just another step towards a new belief system: Forming a god-like construct we're aware of its superior, networked intelligence, finally one we can see and touch and that tells us what to do in exchange for comfort. If a human being only lives for the endless search of comfort, he'll die as a minor being than he was born, supporting a system that forces others next to him to do the same. Both, *science and religions have to be judged wisely and put in their certain places*. Most times in the past - as far as we might know the truth - we were ruled in masses by religion, now we're already in an about 20 year lasting, pure scientific rulership through microtech-comfort in the first world. This ongoing remote control through whoever-now-is-in-charge has to stop for good. With growing self-awareness and following wisdom ppl could learn to live without artificial trends and hypes driving them from left to right and back again until we've reached the point of extinction because of ongoing nonsense. Honestly? This doesn't sound like the world's people I learned to know, but despite this there might be at least one circumstance that could change that drastically. So let's close the circle we've begun above: - *Humankind is a hyped teenager right now, thinking anything they need to care is for comfort without consideration or consequences, that is about to experience a fatal car accident. If it survives this like "a wonder", it could become wiser than it acts momentarily.*  *Or* we could call the human experiment a failure and facehug the apocalypse. We're about to meet a junction sooner or later - what's it gonna be? Quite a lot might answer: 'None of it is gonna happen.' - I'd see such a statement as a confirmation and hommage to the "superficially education of illusionary doctrines within the snow globe reality" and answer: 'Wished that bare nihilation could ever be the answer.'
