The greatest danger is to treat AI like an enemy. AI must be a functioning member of society if we want it to act responsibly and make a positive contribution to the whole. It must be “one of us”, otherwise it will behave like a minority that is excluded and oppressed by society. Humans have a lot of experience in creating self-correcting social structures we call society. We need to make AIs members of our societies, subject to rights and responsibilies like humans.
