As long as it's based on other peoples' work without consent, it's a violation of copyright and humanity. I believe we're in a 'wild west' phase with AI. Current laws don't protect against new technology and I think we'll start to see case law protect artists from this obvious theft. It is a shame that AI 'art' users are so ignorant/unempathetic to real artists. I for one will never stop calling them frauds
