@cheeseobsession4122 at the rate we're going, regardless of which political ideology remains at the top, eventually human talent, skill, intelligence, you-name-it, will all be eclipsed by AI, who would continually match us for every new invention we make, until there comes a point where AI doesn't need to learn from us anymore, as it's already better than us at all aspects. The first stories about a future with AI called it out. We are trying to play god by attempting to make AI in our image (robot dogs with learning capabilities, chat bots, AI art generators, etc.).
Doesn't feel good to say or hear, but we've been at the forefront of discovery and inventions for well over a few millennia now. Someday, we gotta pass the torch.
