@maoopan lol and the other beautiful part of AI art, it is wonder for idea drafting. The sort of images I've generated aren't always great but they provide an idea for composition. I think the way I view it, it's never going to replace real artists. It might get good and be hard to distinguish, but no matter what an artist will always have more control and more heart in anything they do. It's like the difference between mad libs and actual story writing. Mad libs are super funny, and make some totally interesting stories within the framework of their basic idea, and they might even inspire some cool story ideas (my Chihuahua necromancer has actually a lot of lore, his name is Ricooo Alvarez and he is searching for the Taco Bell, an artifact of great power, and he is loosely based around the classic taco bell dog, except as a necromancer) But mad libs and AI generated art are totally different from actually writing or drawing, and truly writing something creates something much better. Art is harder for me, but I can write, and I would rather write myself than use chatGPT. And ultimately, I think the really cool stuff will happen when we steal ideas from AI, and then use our superior creativity to polish it up to perfection and make something amazing. I wouldn't use AI to write my book, but I might use it to help organize my plotlines and events. But yeah, it's all pretty crazy how much it is growing. But I'm confident that it will never truly replace creatives. I read somewhere actually that since it is based on being able to predict what real art would look like, it's own presence will slowly degrade it. The more AI art or written in material is out there, the more tainted it's learning supply is. So I imagine it'll be a very slow growth after a certain point.
