I could go to an AI tool and randomly generate slop until it makes something that looks like my character, but nothing will ever compare to the way I audibly SCREAMED of joy when someone put in the time and effort to draw my character for me as a gift It’s still on my phone’s lock screen and it still makes me happy every single time I see it because someone made that!! For me!! It’s like a love letter to the character I created! Someone, for the hours it took to create that art, poured love into my character, the kind of love of creation that I thought only I would ever have for him. AI generated images have none of that
