@Raziel312 You don't have to print money, you just take the excess money from overproduction and pay everyone the UBI. The overproduction would exist much more in an automated future.
And while it might look that they are receiving a smaller piece, it's much more preferable than having less income due to lacking customers that can't afford anything (And UBI would be probably be used by these people to calm the masses). From their perspective, it would be choosing the lesser of two evils.
