So basically, if an AI of some sorts, suddenly became self-conscious , and had free will and thought, you would, with that knowledge, stop that evolution from happening ? Honestly i think you're just afraid that an AI might just be smarter than you.. It's not a bad thing you know. A smart AI with free will, with good intentions, could rocket us into a technological evolution the likes we've never seen before..
