I think the con is what they're implying AI will be used for, at least initially until they have the ability to automate a lot of jobs away. It seems like the first iteration of AI will be a mass surveillance system, possibly to run a digital dollar/currency system, with profiles on every citizen revealing just how obedient we all are or aren't.
