The people programing the ai, are the ones stealing. If they didn't steal, ai prompters wouldn't have the data to steal. While some are developing ai for the love of progress, actually productive minds, some want the money. To poison the data is to take that from the thieves. Real ai minds aren't effected. Image generation is done for corporate greed or similar motivations. Thus, poisoning image data sets stops that theft without effecting the progression
