@Mark S As long as companies and defense ministries are supporting AI, there is nothing the general public can do. Huge money will be invested in developing AI and robots even if people don't like it.
There are already products in the market being sold helping to fund AI and robotics, as voice home assistants and cleaning robots. Even smartphone apps are using and developing AI.
