Honestly, the *prompters who use AI to fake making art really are delusional if they aren't immediately stating clearly "this was made with AI for the lolz, this is NOT my artwork and I do not claim to have this style, I was simply messing about!" and are instead trying to claim they are artists and they made the artwork. Anyone who is reasonable and sane would know that the person who PROMPTS the artwork is NOT the person who MADE the artwork... Or else every person who ever hired an artist to make art for them would also be able to call themselves an artist. DaVinci and Michelangelo and Rembrandt were the artists - do we even remember any of the names of the people who hired (prompted) them to make the artworks we see in museums today? The Sistine Chapel was painted by what artist? That name DEFINITELY isn't the name of the person who HIRED the artist... The artist is famously Michelangelo, one of the great masters, and he was COMMISSIONED (hired) by 2 different Popes successively (it took a long time to complete). We do not say the artist were the two popes who _prompted_ him to make that painting on the ceiling... and this is a known fact! I can't hardly swing a stick around without hitting at least ONE person who knows what the name Michelangelo and the title "The Sistine Chapel" mean... Or how about The Last Supper painting!!! We know the artist, but how many popularly know the name of the COMMISSIONER (prompter) for that piece? That these idjits prompting the AI to make art think THEY are responsible, in light of how this entire thing actually works and has been KNOWN to operate, is proof that they cannot be argued with, only deemed 'a lost cause' and exposed for their idiocy. At this juncture, you'd think they'd all be educated in basics well enough to brain out that 'the person who PROMPTS someone or something to make artwork is not themselves the creator of that artwork, even if they OWN the artwork' and that to have created something you need to have literally created it yourself. You cannot just prompt a program to make something and then claim you have made it - the work was done by the program. I think, honestly, that these people may be dealing with some sort of significant mental impairments or something that they should seek a doctor to help with. This is some really suspect thought processing; its as if they can't manage to brain out a fully realized thought to save their lives! :'D
