No man should have to do that if a machine can do it. I suppose you would say you respect the labor of guys in the middle ages who would scoop human waste off the basement level of the castle after the king relieves himself. No would say they don't respect that guy, but the point is, no one should have to do that job, ok. We now use automatic machinery to process human waste, and no one says "oh we shouldn't have done that because now the person who did it manually in the middle ages doesn't have a job." He DOES have a job, but it's a different one, because the old one was automated. No one says "oh it's so terrible that we use cars now, pray what shall the horseshoe makers do?". They became ASE certified mechanics. And they have to upgrade their skills for the coming EVs too. "Blue or Red state $17.00 will not provide a secure income in most parts of the US" Yeah it will, I've had jobs like that recently. (I have a lot of problems in life, alas.) You can live in Silicon Valley on that (I live in Silicon Valley). You can't purchase a home, but one doesn't have to purchase a home to live in an area, you know. 🙂 Besides, the wages in red states are MUCH lower. And in red states they don't have a right to sit. Nor a right to facilities to relieve themselves conveniently, nor 10 minute breaks....it's quite ridiculous, really. Glad to have grown up in blue state, and you could pay me to move to a red one. 🙂
