@MushuaThePotato Having tried to use various AI art generators for personal use (not to sell anything) I can assure you it is nowhere near that easy to use well. Yes it is significantly easier to learn than learning to actually draw or whatever, but there is absolutely a skill barrier. Also, not only is nobody losing money because idiots bought this idiot's NFTs, meaning it's stupid to care that he's selling them because it isn't impacting ANYBODY's livelihood, but also I guarantee that more people heard of this idiot specifically because the controversy boosted his reach to include all of the idiots in the aundiences of the idiots trying to clown on him, which inevitably pushed more idiots to buying his crap. Even if your points were valid reasons to hate him, which like, I'm not trying to tell anybody how to feel about him, this course of action has literally THE OPPOSITE EFFECT of what the people who hate him want. Hence why I call them idiots too. How many people watched this video literally never would have heard of him if this video hadn't popped up in our youtube shorts feed? I know I'm one. Let's be generous and assume only one in one hundred people who found out about him specifically because of the controversy is the sort of idiot who buys NFTs, how could spreading awareness of this idiot accomplish anything other than BOOSTING HIS SALES? This literally puts more money in his pocket, not less, because nobody who would have bought from him is suddenly not going to, meanwhile lots of people who never would have heard of him have and some of those are going to buy his crap. I literally do not care how you feel about AI art, or him, or any of the rest of it, this was a patently stupid reaction to his existence. As should be obvious to anybody who stops and thinks about it for five seconds. Then again, the reactionary morons who pull this kind of protest don't tend to think at all beyond their immediate emotional reaction. Nothing will ever improve so long as a movement is lead by idiots who don't think about the consequences of their actions. I'm not saying they are wrong to hate AI art, or that they are wrong to hate this guy in particular. I'm saying the actions they took as a result of those emotions were fundamentally stupid and run directly counter to their own stated goals. Was that clear enough for you, or are you going to continue defending this idiocy?
