On the diagram we are at the peak hype phase just before the trough. AI is a bubble the same way the great video game crash of 1983 was a bubble. This was probably before a lot of people were born but Mattel, Magnavox, and Zenith all had their own video game platforms. Then in 1983 they all exited the market while Atari stock crashed ninety percent.
