Thing is humans are programmed through having experiences. AIs are programmed through compiled data ABOUT having experiences.
Lock someone in a dark room and their thoughts would be their own because their having the experience. Do the same to an AI and any thoughts they have would be someone else's.
The truth is just because humans and AIs have some overlapping capabilities doesn't mean that we have to criticize one and praise the other. They're two different things.
