@gpgp1841 Maybe I have a bit of a different perspective because I also am an art commissioner/client. I just paid 500$ for a personal drawing. I almost do so every month. Each time, I have a wonderful crafted experience to my needs that a machine could *never* provide and render. I know that if I tried to recreate my exact vision using a tool like this one (because I have tried in my teens, with photoshop, and other editing tools), I would be vastly limited to things that already exist. It would look like something pre-existant. It will not be *personal*. Just like when I provide translation services, especially if I am translating a song for a musical, it is absolutely impossible with a tool alone, a tool can be useful if I am translating lists of words from a retail clothing price markdowns. It really depends on what you need, and what kind of experience you want. Some people will want nothing but a profile picture, some people just want a generic 'welcome' message on their website landing page...These are the clients you were probably never gonna have nor want. AI generated stuff works for them. But some people will want intricate tattoo designs, and adaptated song lyrics for their musicals: those clients will stay. Idk, I wouldn't change my human interactions with my favourite artists even if that saves me money. Just like the companies who still hire me for my services. I adapt myself to the needs of the general public, work differently (sometimes, I only do post-edition). In other cases, originality is critical (and it tends to give much better results, and people can tell the difference, consciously or not) Edit, adding to an aforementioned point: Again, humans tend to hate copies, or the same ol' thing being thrown at them. Think of ads, overly repetitive trends, even turn of phrases (2020's 'In these unprecedented times' ...ugh), christmas songs during christmas season, or that very *very* annoying AI voice over on TikTok. I'm sure most of you can hear 'her' in your head if you try. Seeing that same blue background image with the highlight does the same. Maybe not yet, but give it another two weeks and it'll make your teeth grind. Bet you all started to know pretty quickly which pfp is AI generated, as tiny as it looks on your screens. This is kinda where I am coming from with the comparison. But I also see what you mean, if that makes sense?
