@Chaki21 I think you're right, overall, but I also think that it will take many years for the ubiquity of AI "art" to collapse, because recently it got mostly indistinguishable from the real deal, and it will take time until the capabilities of AI stagnate due to lacking input to the point of being noticeable as a problem. I think that might've been confusing, so here's what I think will (need to) happen step by step: 1.) Most if not all artists will lose their job, i.e. be unable to live off their art and be forced to do other work due to the competition by AI. 2.) Less artists means less art means less new source material to feed the AI. 3.) AI will at best start to become ever more samey and boring and will lack the inclusion of novel concepts, or at worst (for AI bros) feed on its own products, making its "art" devolve into something so sloppy we can't really imagine today. 4.) The whole mess will become so noticeable that real human artists will start to be in demand again, and AI art will become a thing of the past, or more likely, find its own little niche. All that doesn't consider the possibility of a universal basic income though, which is theoretically EASILY possible - at the very least in the western world - and would possibly support the continued feasibility of art as a fulltime job
