@sktima the thing is when an artwork is made by AI, it's fed data from all other human artists' artworks and it basically churns out a combination of the most usual tropes. That makes it lose its humanity.
Like, when you watch someone speedrun a game and later you find out that it wasn't a speedrun by a human but rather an AI program, that loses all its charms, doesn't it?
Gamers would rather watch a speedrunner make a 5 min speedrun of a difficult game than an AI of 1.5 mins. And that's precisely because the ones who have played that game know how much care you'd need to barely finish it, let alone speedrun it. While it'd seem the very same for non-gamers.
I reckon, it's the same for art to do with artists and non-artists. It's not the beauty that matters, rather the humanity
