I think we will be rethinking the whole AI thing. The societal disruption could be so severe it might destabilize our civilization. That is why the universal basic income is such a huge topic. Will folks be able to make a house payment on UBI? Wealth concentration will likely get out of hand. It already is. The biggest cheerleaders for all this is capital (rich and wall street) given the savings on labor. Of course they haven't thought this out. How does a consumer driven economy work without consumers? I am encouraged that AI won't spare Wall Street especially all the analyst and traders. They will be the first to go.
