Do you not think there is a substantial difference between a human having varied conscious and subconscious influences on their worldbuilding, and an AI specifically training on other books in order to come up with worldbuilding?
Like a human will try to come up with a world, and their brain will inevitably use some stuff they'e read before as creative juices, but it'll also use conversations they had with their friends, and long drives through rainy weather, and the smell of their mom's cooking, you know?
I think there's a big big big difference between existing work being part of your inspiration -- which is inevitable, we stand on the shoulder of giants -- alongside your life experience and perspective, as opposed to an entire idea being generated by a machine that trained on existing work.
