1. It would be yours because it’s actually the image from your brain. Ai just creates your idea and rarely gets it accurate to how you saw it in your mind but if we could just create the exact images from our mind that would be different. It would be human art but it would destroy any amount of work and skill humans should develop rather than have handed to them. 2. I understand that art is defined by the viewer, but most people’s problem with AI generated images is that there’s no humanity behind them but the idea. Art is human expression whether it looks pretty or not. Ai images always look good, but there’s no soul in that image. No blood, sweat, and tears that actual artists have in their pieces. 3. No one HAS but they COULD. Ai is something that is programmed to do this. It’s not a human that has a creative mind that can be inspired by something but still make it their own art piece. Because Ai is programmed, things that use the same or similar prompts will generate such similar images because it can’t create, only copy what it was trained from. 4. I’ll be fully transparent. I don’t really know how to argue this, but in my opinion that’s why Ai is a problem and not an asset to humanity. In the future it will cause so many more problems than solve them especially with how manufacturers are developing it through “fast=better” rather than “efficient=better.” 5. I also came up with another counterpoint to why AI isn’t just a tool. Ai really does allow everyone to make the images in their mind. ANYONE. And when everyone is an artist, no one is an artist. Art is something created and worked for, not generated.
