@CorporateCatalyst A drop in job postings doesn’t automatically mean jobs are ending.
2021–22 had over-hiring across tech, so a correction was expected—with or without AI.
Also, if AI is replacing developers, why are AI companies themselves still actively hiring engineers?
What’s happening isn’t elimination, but a productivity shift—leading to fewer low-skill roles, higher expectations, and continued demand for skilled engineers, not zero jobs.
