@hdnh2006 well there it's mostly reasonable yes, but thats not the example they show in the video .. In the video it's about which content is shown to people on google and which content is not.. And as we see with youtubes "advertiser friendly" content even there it starts that content that doesn't actually contain anything that is against the rules gets banned or restricted first because the algorithm recognizes it as something bad... And the impact of that in comparison to stopping terrorists at an airport is a very different one.. If you watch a video about how google manipulates search results to their own favour in comparison to e.g. duckduckgo it becomes more clear that not negative biases are reduced, just new biases are followed.. I would consider all biases that are purposefully there to favour the own opinions and censor others as dangerous.. What is so dangerous about an open conversation about topics? Why do we need to lead them into the direction we'd like to see? If opinions or biases are really that negative then an completely open discussion by itself should be able to regulate that because the majority of the people will recognize them as negative.. But when you take that ability away from the people because you think you decide "right" or are "on the good side" and you limit this free conversation .. Then it actually gets dangerous
