​@Catherine-lq2dlI don't think anybody wants to watch AI generated stuff, and I don't think anybody wants to take away jobs from artists. This doesn't change the fact that AI generation (for the most part, excluding specific prompts) is as original as normal art. It learns the exact same way you do. The only difference is that it's not flawed like a normal artist. And when I say "it's not flawed", I mean the fact we have all these problems with AI generation is because of the computer OVER perfecting. When you're given so much to work with, it can be hard to generate a hand for example. I feel bad for the programmers that are just trying to push society further and they're getting dogged on told that their work, yes, the WORK of a real person, is absolutely horrible, disgusting and immoral. Told it looks bad. Do you know who you're talking to when you say these things? Do you know how long programmers spend slaving over their computers, developing health problems because they're stuck at their desks, just for people like you to come in and not even care at all about what they spent their life building? Don't say it looks disgusting, you know it doesn't. Yes, it has a lot of problems but it will improve. I'll repeat myself: I don't want AI generation to replace art, and honestly I don't think it will. It's not like people are gonna stop drawing because there's AI generation. I still draw when I know that I could just use a generator. Some artists with general styles may lose out on commissions, but most artists will still get commissions if their work is passionate. You say it's soulless, but this is all human made. Humans made the art. The computer is just mashing it all together.
