@darylfoster7944 It's almost as if you read the first line of my statement and started responding to it immediately. The human condition is the problem. Humans are much more prone to making mistakes. While yes, good drivers keep the roads safer, those same drivers can suffer fatigue, they can get distracted, they fall ill. You also overlooked the rest of my statement to where I stated we could eliminate traffic as well. If we had autonomous vehicles, we wouldn't have to worry about those licensing issues, or the drunk drivers, or any of that. We could still have tracks for people to take their manual driving vehicles to drive around at, like we do with horse tracks. It's the natural evolution of travel
