All generative AI out right now has in one way or another been trained by stolen material, and that's not the only problem AI has. What about the fact that it takes massive amounts of power to keep running? Or the fact that being good at typing prompts into an AI machine doesn't translate into being good at art?
With things like CGI, at least you're the one creating the model for the characters, and you're the one animating them to look good. That's just not the same as using AI to generate a video for you
