I disagree.
Musicians can still play live.
Ai will do that too, we've seen that with the hologram shows and Hatsune Miku. Abba did something similar. But it will take some time to really lift of.
This is where big labels will steer I think. Ai-ify big artist names and cash in for concerts of long dead ppl. So her music will still live on.
And there will always be a place for homemade music, real ppl playing live in venues and clubs.
Most ppl listening habits are due to nostalgia and preconceived opinions in their minds. A lot of it is marketing too.
I don't see it as a fight, it's a win for the audience. You can have the best of both worlds, real musicians for live, Ai for radio music that sounds the same nowadays anyway. Nothing is lost.
