I honestly see worse produced by professional studios on a regular basis. Professional studios have gotten so money hungry that they'll deliver such degrading trash that the audience demands that they give up the project as they'd rather have nothing than what's being served. For case and example, The Beginning After The End.
As with all forms of automation, AI doesn't have to be perfect, it just has to better than the set average.
I'd rather an AI write script than have Rafe Judkins fuck up The Wheel of Time any further. I'd rather have AI animate than whatever bullshit has been going on with the bad CG in anime the last 5 years.
