Holy crap where the heck have you lived? Dude, this is about CONSUMERISM. We've ALWAYS had people who don't care about how something was made as long as it makes monkey brain go happy. Honestly it doesn't matter what bad thing you say about AI, it's nothing new. Humans have always looked for ways to cut corners, have always looked for a "thing" to give them dopamine just for a little while, and have always developed a reliance on something that they wouldn't know what to do if it suddenly vanished. We're our own worst enemies, AI is just another tool we developed to further our self-abusing relationship with our own species.
