@BeardofBeesPool — No need to feel emotions as qualia to end up at that effective circumplex model. Understanding emotions like understanding the meaning of words of a language (or their roundabout descriptions as what was done here) without feeling anything fully suffices. Emotional tone detection via AI is nothing new. There are latent space vectors representing emotional tone. This seems just like expanding on this. These "emotions" are just like any other detected abstract concept in speech. Nothing makes them special in relation to other concepts like detected accents or whatever. Humans brains in contrast have highly specialized neural systems for emotions. To proof anything at all about actually experienced qualia an isomorphism to these systems in brains seems like the one and only viable option. Such a proof should work so long one assumes that other people than oneself experience qualia too, which noone would disagree with I hope.
