Claiming FSD v13 “proves LIDAR isn’t needed” feels like marketing hype. Tesla’s vision system impresses but often fails in real-world edge cases, leading to accidents. Waymo’s LIDAR, radar, and camera combo isn’t overkill—it’s smart engineering. Until Tesla matches that reliability, dismissing LIDAR is just risky, shortsighted and dead stupid.
