The key word here is "assistance," rather than replacement. Photoshop: the OG: does not generate artwork. A human decides what to change and how to change it. At the pharmacy, the automated cuff readings are still subject to interpretation by a medical professional. Stop lights: automated devices designed by a human. They are also maintained by humans. Any AI component is nonessential; stop lights can run on a timer based on established traffic patterns. ATMs: Automated money machines for when: a bank isn't nearby, the bank is closed, or a point of sale doesn't have the "cash back" option. Does not replace humans.
