@thewannabecritic7490 That's exactly what I feared before I started. But no. Text 2 Image requires excellent use of language to produce something original. And there's a great deal of learning how the samplers and checkpoints react to each prompt. My input level is quite high, and why I think of it as a collaboration. The first thing to know is generative AI doesn't just find an existing piece of art that's roughly in the ballpark, and copy that. It rarely does that. Especially if I'm trying to produce something original. Photorealistic images of existing people might be the times it does reach for existing work to copy, but i discourage photorealism. I want AI to make the things that can't be photographed. Personally I'm obsessed with the 'painterly' side of things; trying to produce original classical-style portraits in my own style. By that I mean I completely opposed prompts containing "In the style of Rembrandt" or whoever. THAT, imo, would be cheating. It would be copying Rembrandt's (or whoever's) flourishes, motifs, and possibly existing works.
