Machines being introduced to car manufacturers is not truly comparable. The machines had the reliability and proof that they would cut costs and improve production rates. There’s no guarantee for AI in the art sector. Right now companies are actually LOOSING tons of money implementing AI. The investors that hand over their money do it cause they think it’s valuable, not cause it’s making money. Look up the tulip mania. It currently costs more to maintain than the net profit it brings in. If AI continues at this rate companies will stop using and investing in it and AI will drop dead or have a big pay wall for users in order to maintain costs of function.
