the AI is probably what's hindering you. Generative AI doesn't take into account things like form, perspective etc. It just copies and pastes what it sees without thought, meaning if you copy from AI you won't be getting things accurate.
Realistically, if you set aside an hour a day to drawing, you'll be fine. Spend maybe 2 or 3 days a week going over fundamentals like practicing shapes or linework and spend the rest actually just drawing what you want and I guarantee within less than a year you'll start making things that you're proud of
